Online Extras Caterina Albert
“El carcanyol” (“The Windfall”), a long story, and “Pòrtic” (“Portico”), a prologue that explains the author’s views on certain literary movements and the nature of literature, were originally published in Caterina Albert’s 1907 Caires viues (“Rough Edges”). They are available here for free in the original Catalan texts and in translations by Kathleen McNerney.
