Transportation to and in Philadelphia

Airport Transportation. Philadelphia is served by Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). One-way fare for taxi service to downtown Philadelphia is approximately $32 and ride-share trips are about $25–$35 for the lowest fare category (Prices do not include tolls, surcharges, and tips).
Amtrak. Amtrak trains enter and leave Philadelphia at 30th Street Station, 2955 Market Street, about 15 blocks from the Pennsylvania Convention Center. Nearby MLA hotels can be reached by SEPTA, taxi, or ride share app services. The convention center is located at SEPTA’s Jefferson Station.
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA). Philadelphia’s transportation system includes buses, train lines, and trolley lines. SEPTA lines also serve as a connection to various modes of regional transportation, including regional train lines for Pennsylvania and New Jersey and Amtrak. Commuters pay for trips using the Septa Key, an all-in-one mobile transit card.
Bike Share. Indego is an app-based bike-sharing option in Philadelphia.
