MLA Land Acknowledgment
We acknowledge that the territory on which we gather is the unceded ancestral land of the Ramaytush Ohlone, the original peoples of the San Francisco peninsula, and that the area comprising the City and County of San Francisco was originally inhabited by the Yelamu, an independent tribe of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples. We honor and thank the Ramaytush Ohlone, the Yelamu, and all Native Peoples on whose ancestral homelands we gather. We take this opportunity to thank the original caretakers of this land who are still here.
