MLA Land Acknowledgement

The MLA office is located on the island known as Mannahatta (Manhattan) in Lenapehoking, the homeland of the Lenape people. The MLA pays respect to the original stewards of this land. We honor and thank the Lenape and all Native Peoples on whose ancestral homelands we gather, as well as the diverse and vibrant Native communities that continue to thrive in New York City.
