Transportation to and in Seattle

Airport Transportation. Seattle is served by Sea-Tac Airport (SEA), with a variety of transportation options to downtown Seattle. One-way fare for taxi service to downtown Seattle is approximately $40–$55 (prices do not include tolls, surcharges, and tips).

Sound Transit. Seattle's light rail system, Sound Transit, provides the most economical travel from the airport to downtown Seattle. Take the University of Washington-bound line to Westlake Station. The trip takes about forty minutes. One-way adult fare ranges from $2.25 to $3.25.

Bike Share. JUMP and Lime are app-based bike-sharing options in Seattle. JUMP bikes are free to unlock and charge $0.15 per minute. For Lime, download the app and scan the QR code to unlock a bike for $1, plus varying rates per minute.
